Join ENCePP

The European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP) is an initiative led by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) aiming at de-fragmenting the available expertise and research experience in the fields of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance across Europe in a network of excellence, including relevant research centres, University hospitals, owners of healthcare databases and/or electronic registries and existing European networks covering certain rare diseases, therapeutic fields and adverse drug events of interest .

Whilst the focus of ENCePP is on public and not-for-profit organisations, for-profit organisations may also qualify for participation in the network provided that they perform studies commissioned by third parties and their main focus is pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance research. All ENCePP partners are included in the ENCePP Inventory of research centres.

ENCePP Inventory of research centres

The ENCePP Working Group “Inventory of EU pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance research centres in ENCePP” has been entrusted with the development of an electronic index of the available EU research organisations in the field of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance. As a result, the Working Group has developed an electronic questionnaire allowing collection of essential information on the research organisations participating in ENCePP.

The Inventory is available to the general public. It will serve as a resource for researchers and potential study funders seeking to identify organisations they would consider appropriate for conducting specific pharmacovigilance projects.

The Inventory is an essential element of the ENCePP initiative.

Please press ‘next’ at the bottom of the page and complete the questionnaire, if:

  • you and/or your organisation are interested and/or actively involved in performing research in the field of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance,
  • you and/or your organisation meet the above-mentioned definition, and
  • you would like to be included in the ENCePP network and the present Inventory.
