2. Description

INSPIRE SRL is an academic spin-off of the University of Messina from July 2020: its main aim is the development, production and marketing of innovative products or services with high technological value. In particular, the activity of the spin-off is the design, development and marketing of innovative algorithms to predict diagnosis of diseases (especially rare diseases) and treatment response using machine learning and big data analytics techniques with large healthcare databases. The team has expertise in the field of pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, medical informatics, biostatistics as well as web application and machine learning. INSPIRE, thanks to strategic agreements with national health system, can access claims databases (fully anonymised) of some Italian local health units.
