2. Description
PRC is a multidisciplinary collaboration, where the Pharmacovigilance Research Group (prof Morten Andersen), the Section of Social and Clinical Pharmacy (prof Anna Birna Almarsdóttir) and the Copenhagen Centre for Regulatory Science (Assoc. prof Christine Hallgreen) join efforts to conduct high-quality observational research.
PRC aims to develop and maintain methodological standards and governance principles for pharmacoepidemiological research and is a member of the European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP).
PRC was established in 2017 and incorporates the expertise of three PIs who have worked >15 years in pharmacoepidemiology. We are skilled in both methodological and clinical research in national as well as multi-country studies and have experience in coordination of large-scale projects.
In future projects, pharmacoepidemiology will be applied to address important issues related to drug safety, drug regulation and medicines use in societ
